LiberTrace is a project funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and European Union (EU).

In the scope of the EU FLEGT initiative, the aim of the project is to establish and operate a Timber Legality Verification Department (LVD) with Liberia´s Forestry Development Authority (FDA) as described in the Voluntary Partnership Agreement (VPA) signed between the EU and the Republic of Liberia.
